Texas Hill Country Axis Hunts is a family owned and operated big game ranch in the Texas hill country. The ranch was opened in 1993 by Henry Cecil Tindall Jr, a hard working Texas man who built his life through hard work and trust in his fellow man. He was well known in the car dealership community for his unique relationship he had with his customers. Over the years, Henry brought home a wide variety of animals for the ranch, everything from elk, fallow, deer, sika deer, and black buck. As well as a lion cub for a short period of time, before his wife got nervous about the animal around their children. They were a family of seven, Henry, his wife Edwynna and their five children, Holly, Trey, Audrey, Stephanie, and Michael.
Today the ranch is run by Henry’s oldest son Trey and his daughter Grace. With help from Gokmen, Grace’s husband, and Eloise, their daughter. This is a family run and family friendly ranch that’s goal is to share the love of hunting, the outdoors, and true Texas roots with as many people as they can.
Texas Hill Country Axis Hunts is located in the historic Texas hill country right off interstate 10. Just a short drive from Fredericksburg, Kerville, and the Texas wine country.
